Athanasios Alexiou is a Mathematician with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics Algorithms and Mathematical Modeling in Biology and a two-years PostDoc Research Fellowship in Neuroinformatics Applications. Nowadays he serves as an Honorary Vice President and a Faculty Member of the Novel Global Community Education Foundation in Australia. He is also the Head of the Scientific Advisory Board of the AFNP Med Company in Austria. His main research fields are Biomedical Informatics and Bioethics, with special interests in Medical Decision Support Systems, Algorithms in Neuroinformatics and Computational Biomedicine, Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Biomarkers Modeling.


Anna Maria Louka is a medical doctor from the Gr. T. Popa Iasi University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, with primary research interests in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

Vasileios Tsiamis graduated from the University of Thessaly in 2015 with a degree in Computer Science & Biomedical Informatics. He has an MSc in Computational Biomedicine at the University of South Denmark and he is currently a PhD candidate. His primary research field includes Bioinformatics, Medical Decision Systems, Point Cloud Techniques in Biomedicine, and Pattern Recognition in Human-Machine Interaction Software and Programming.


Stylianos Chatzichronis graduated from the University of Thessaly in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science & Biomedical Informatics. He is currently an MSc Student in Bioinformatics at the National University of Athens in Greece. His primary research field includes Medical Informatics, BCI, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Programming.


Vasileios Matzavinos is graduated from the University of Thessaly in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science & Biomedical Informatics. He has an MSc in Informatics at the University of Thessaly in Greece. His primary research field includes Alzheimer’s disease, Bayesian Statistics, R-Programming.


Polina Simou studied German Literature and Philosophy at the University of Athens. Her academic and artistic interests mainly are focused on the diffusion as well as the ethical and philosophical aspects of Bioart as well the most known Biotechnological issues like genetic engineering, hybrid organisms, clones, semi-living organisms, stem cells, quantum mechanics, nanotechnology, brain interaction, Transhumanism, and Neo-Humanity. Georgia Soursou graduated from the University of Thessaly in 2016 with a degree in Computer Science & Biomedical Informatics. She has an MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Crete in Greece. Her primary research field includes Biomedical Informatics, Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Medical Decision Systems.

Filia Alexiou has a Bachelor in History and Philosophy of Science from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her main research interests include Bioethics, Philosophy of Science, and Digital marketing in Healthcare.
